The Queensland Government Defence to Civilian Success training program.

Delivered in partnership with TAFE Queensland, includes support for transitioning Australian Defence Force members to have their Defence qualifications recognised in a civilian context, and a personalised training pathway to enhance employment opportunities.

The TAFE Queensland Defence Solutions Team have in the past 12 months travelled to every ADF Transition Seminar around the Country helping interstate TAFEs on language and skillsets that members possess. As a result of a singular process national approach DVA white cards can be used at TAFEs to secure full concessional funding on courses where available. It is important to note that this concessional funding is also available to current serving members wishing to upskill in their current role or wishing to learn new skillsets. We also have details of every National TAFE POC for Defence VET Training and extra available funding and coaching support using our ESO Network.

Our ex-ADF Defence Solutions Officers understand the skills, language, experience and knowledge that veterans have gained through their military service and are able to translate these skillsets into educational and employment pathways that lead to meaningful civilian employment opportunities. The Defence to Civilian Success training program will enable both the Queensland Government and TAFE Queensland to further extend our support to more veterans as they transition into new and exciting careers. https://defencetransitions.blog/about-us/
